A Nau Catrineta

This work challenges the reader, inspired by the texts of "Nau Catrineta" and "The Shipwreck of Jorge de Albuquerque Coelho," to 'illuminate' their leadership abilities. With this book, it becomes possible to reflect on leadership using classics of Portuguese literature, as has been done for centuries with, for example, the texts of Sun Tzu, Homer, Shakespeare, or Machiavelli. The book develops and contextualizes the association between the two texts, based on a hypothesis raised by Almeida Garrett in his Romanceiro. As a result of the research conducted for this book, the author also reveals some little-known facts about the Tragic-Maritime History.
