Goa Portuguesa e Pós-Colonial: Literatura, Cultura e Sociedade

This work, produced within the scope of the ORION/Portuguese Orientalism: Texts and Contexts (19th and 20th centuries) project of the Centre for Comparative Studies at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon, "Portuguese and Post-Colonial Goa: Literature, Culture and Society", brings together essays in the areas of Literary Studies, History, Anthropology, Law and Music. It addresses not only Orientalism but also the relationships between travel, empires and writing, literature and institutional practice, colonialism and religious cultural identities, Goan literature in Portuguese and post-coloniality.
