Doonesbury

This is a 1971 book collection by Garry Trudeau featuring his earliest pre-syndication comic strips. The comics started as Bull Tales in the Yale Daily News around 1968 while Trudeau was an undergraduate and introduced early versions of characters like Mike Doonesbury, Mark Slackmeyer, and B.D.Transition. Many of these campus strips were later revised and adapted into the nationally syndicated Doonesbury launch in October 1970.
